To all FESS course participants on 30th & 31st July 2009,

Kindly please come early for registration in order to kick-off the opening speech on time. The dean will stay for the first lecture, as we've already decided to give a tribute 'Memorial Oration' to Late Assoc. Prof. KN Subramanian.

The earlier part of the programme (1st day) as below:

0730-0815: REGISTRATION
0815-0820: OPENING SPEECH by Prof. Dato' Dr. Ikram Shah Ismail, Dean of Faculty.

0820-0823: A/Prof. Subra's biodata -read by Prof. R. Raman, former Head of Department
0823-0840: Lecture: "Lateral Nasal wall Dissection" by Prof. Benjamin, Philippine.
0840-0845: Certificate & Commemorative medal giving

*rest of the programme will be distributed later. A/Prof KN Subra was our senior ENT consultant who passed-away during the service.

HOW TO GET TO 'JEMERLANG HALL'

Jemerlang Hall, or Dewan Jemerlang in Malay, is located near to the faculty site. If you get a taxi or park your vehicle at Trauma Centre, UMMC, you have to walk towards faculty buildings (about 5-7 minutes by walking).

Ok, take 3rd floor on Main building (Menara Utama), then turn right towards Medical Library. Take one floor up and go straight until you see a small path to the left. This path will lead you to the hall.

A Visit From US Company

It is an honour and high recognition from US powered instrument company to visit our set-up for Powered Instrument Workshop.

The company which is based in Texas, United States, was impressed with the department and really hope to organise similar workshop in US as well as the other region of the world.

This year is third year of the workshop.
